(2016) ED 602: Technology Training, Coaching, & Mentoring

This course is an online course for the Ed.S. degree in Instructional Technology. Students create multiple types of technology training and learn how to begin a coaching relationship. This course pairs nicely with the ED 601 course that students take in the summer to learn about instructional design. They begin a training project in ED 601--Instructional Design and Development--and finish it in 602. One hallmark of this course is the use of Periscope, a Twitter app partner that allows users to take and publish video in real-time. Students take this use of a Twitter product a step further and cultivate a professional network using Twitter.
