Alabama Leaders of Technology Education (ALET) Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Academy
Consulted with ALET to provide management services, including program planning, development, and implementation for the Chief Technology Officer Academy for new and aspiring K-12 Chief Technology Officers. Participants attend monthly professional development sessions on topics aligned with CoSN (Consortium of School Networking) and ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) Standards.

Exploring New Opportunities: STEM, Digital Literacy, & Computer Science | Alabama Educational Technology Conference
Participants discovered the possibilities for engaging students using STEM, Digital Literacy, and Computer Science while igniting the fire of learning for students in their schools. Inservice educators discussed how to plan a school-based event that involved the whole student body, a specific population of students, and even the school community that promoted topics related to STEM and multiple literacies.

Distance Learning & Telemedicine Grant | USDA Rural Services and Utilities
The RUS grant seeks to strengthen the relationship with neighboring communities to offer access to telemental health and distance learning. Telemedicine/distance education end-user units will be placed in high schools to offer services to students, teachers, and community members to meet the outcomes of the grant and mitigate the lack of access to mental health care, high-quality University dual-enrollment courses, educator preparation/continuing education, and instructional leader preparation/continuing education.
